HI Michelle

Was browsing the website and came across your post re Morrison from Edinburgh.

I live in Corstorphine and looked up some records that are held in The Corstorphine Heritage Centre. The Birches is no. 90 Saughton Road. If you would like I could send you and email with a picture attachment .

Kind Regards

Frances

Hi Frances,

What types of records are held at the Corstorphine Heritage Centre? Athough it is only 3 or 4 miles from home for me, I have never been there.

All the best,

Andrew

Hello Andrew

We are very fortunate to have a large number of records including the research papers of the late Rena Cowper, OPR & Census 1841-1891 for Corstorphine, maps, pictures and documents. We also have a small museum and coffee room.

The Dower House (headquarters of The Corstorphine Trust is open Wednesday & Saturday mornings throughout the year from 10.00-12.00.

It is well worth a visit for anyone who may be researching family who lived in the parish of Corstorphine.
