A search on www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk will very quickly produce the birth register entry for Annie Thain TURNBULL, from which you will be very quickly able to see the marriage register entry for her parents, - John TURNBULL and Annie TURNBULL MS THAIN..........
Further searches on www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk will then produce the marriage register entries of the parents shown on the birth register entry for Annie Thain TURNBULL, which show their parents in turn, - with both such marriages also easy to locate on www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk .
Quite possible that statutory, census, OPR and other records will allow the tree to be taken back another generation or two .....
