A very sad discovery

Post by emanday » Fri Oct 06, 2006 6:17 pm

After a lot of searching for Thomas's DC I finally found it, but his son couldn't remember his own father's parents names

Bad enough as I'd been hoping to confirm that.

...but...

have a look at the first entry on the page. Made me cry. Poor wee unwanted soul.

Just read the top entry - enough to break your heart - as you said Mary, poor wee soul.

Hi Mary
What a sad find. You do wonder what the circumstances were... at least the wee soul has had a moment or two of reflection & remembrance on here. I'm sure everyone who reads that death entry will be touched by it.

Best wishes
Lesley

I just couldn't leave that wee boy as "just another entry" that happened to be on the same page as my rellie.

Bless him.

Its enough to make yer heart greet

It would appear that he could have been the result of a single mother who couldn't cope with having a child, and took the only option she thought she had. But then there could be other sadder reasons.

May the angels take good care of him.
