The Baird and Haddow families of Hamilton.....

Can anyone help me, I am looking for Jane baird of hamilton born abt 1800, married to william haddow abt 1824 scotland. Can anyone help me find out details of this family. He was a memmber of the church of england.????
Also would like to know any details of the parents or brothers and sisters.

Have you made progress with this one? How certain are you that he was Church of England? Could he have been Episcopal? I'm no expert but it would, I think, be unusual for a Scot to be CofE - not impossible, but certainly unusual. Some of my lot changed over time from Church of Scotland to United Secession to Episcopal. (With a Methodist and a Wesleyan thrown in for good measure!)

Do you have any other information:- like date of death which might let you work back towards perhaps the 1841/1851 Census; or perhaps try trade/street directories for the local area ...
