CAMPBELLS CHILDREN

I hope maybe this will help finding out more about this family..

The parents Donald Campbell and Catherine Campbell nee Campbell as posted in previous message, under CAMPBELLS

Their children names were:

Neil bd 1st Feb 1826,
Bell bd 1826,
Angus 1830,
Margaret 1832,
Alexander 1835 (wasn't on the ship when the family came to NZ we think maybe he died in ? Polosgan Isle of Skye,
Ewen 1838
Kenneth 1840 died in 1903 Oban Areyshire?
Lachlan1843
John 1845,
Mary 1847
All the children were born in Milwage Isle of Skye,

Catherines parents were maybe Kenneth and Mary Ross

Any help with this out there?

The census in 1841 & perhaps also 1851 for this family may shed a little light on them, if you have not looked that up already.

I have found what seems to be the family parents names,childrens names/ages match up on Freecen.
The only anomaly is that there is a 15 year old Neil & a 6 year old Neil but I suppose they could be cousins.
It is SCT1841/110-Duirnish-Inverness-shire.ED14/Folio 14/page 10.
If you do not have it will be happy to upload it or you could have a wee look yourself.

Any mention of Donald and Catherines parents?.... Catherines parents apparently were called Kenneth Campbell and Mary Ross ..

If you go to http://freecen.rootsweb.com you'll find what looks like Kenneth and Mary Campbell living at Millivaig - that's if you haven't found them already!
