David Mitchell - Glasgow. Does anyone know his family?

I'm trying to locate the family of David Mitchell born around 1900 - 1915. The little I know at the moment is that he was a publican in Glasgow, in Vincent Street. I know his mother lived there too so I am presuming he was born there. He had connections with Liverpool, at least for a little while.
If this rings any bells for anyone I'd really appreciate contact and will happily expain the nature od my search.
