Digging Up Your Roots

Post by DavidWW » Sun Apr 15, 2007 9:56 pm

Given the tremendous listener response to DuYR #1, it had been hoped that DuYR #2 might hit the airwaves in January 2008, but the heid high yins doon in Queen Margaret Drive in Glesca were sufficiently impressed by the tremendous listener response, so that DuYR starts at 11:00 am on Sunday 1st July and runs for 6 programmes.

General format as before, but with more time given to live enquiries and a section devoted to an update on the previous programme's content and enquiries.

Given the many, many interesting situations that were carried over from DuYR #1, it's unlikely that there will be a fresh appeal for DuYR #2.

Oh I am looking forward to it already! I listened to it online whilst doing one of my many accounts clients books and found it informative and entertaining!

Hi David,
Never heard it first time round.
How long is each programme and is there any BBC link to hear it again?

One hour less news and weather.

For one week after transmission on the BBC site!
