Just had to let you know my great news about my search for Effie Grant
I had telephoned some George Colvens and one T.Herd in Saskatchewan, and to my great delight, I have found Effie`s grandson!!

He is Ted Herd living in Saskatchewan, I received an e mail from him yesterday, I had left a message on his answering machine as he was not available

You can just imagine how thrilled I am now to at last found a relative there

I have to thank you both for the help you have given me, without which I may not have found him, so thank you so much for your efforts and advice, it has been very much appreciated.

I was unable to get back to you sooner have been having problems about my son, he is in hospital waiting an op for a large bladder stone, thought the op was to be this morning, but it has been postponed until later today, so he is a bit depressed about it all, I`m just keeping my fingers crossed that there will be no more delays, as he is desperate to come home.

Maud I am so pleased to hear you have made contact with Effie's grandson. I hope he like you has that certain curiosity and that he and you can answer many of each other's questions.

I have admired your doggedness for a long time , and no-one more than you deserves to make a breakthrough.
