Robert Beattie

Post by Baldy » Sat Jun 02, 2007 7:09 am

I am wondering "IF" there may be some one who would have any information on the following person(s) the only information that I have is below.

Robert Beattie died 12 July 1977 and was the husband of Netta Rogerson.
This headstone is in Tinwald cemetery.

This information is from a headstone & was given to me
I know nothing more at all about him/her

Thanks in advance

Hi Baldy,
couldn't find a marriage on SP.
Does it say on the stone how old he was?

Hi Cathy
Unfortunately the answer is no.
The only information that I was given is what I have posted.

I also looked on SP and could not find anything either.
I am going to "try" and post the headstone image that I was sent in gallery.
I will call it Headstone
I hope that I can do this ?????

Regards

Hi Baldy
It may be possible to acquire his death entry as you have a date. Being a relatively recent death, and if you are not able to visit Edinburgh (NRH) or Glasgow (Park Circus) you would need to contact GROS directly and it is a bit more expensive than the entries on SP, but it should provide you with parent details if that is the sort of info you are looking for. For info see:
http://www.gro-scotland.gov.uk/famrec/h ... flet2.html

For instructions for uploading a picture to the gallery, see: http://talkingscot.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6496
in the How to section.

Best wishes

Hi Baldy

You have a space quota of 1024K, your files currently use 472K, adding this file would make you exceed your quota.

Looks like it is under Image menu/Image size.

A tutorial can be found here,
http://www.somewhere-in-time.net/tutori ... ndex2.html
using a different image, but should be useful.
Come back to us if not!!
