Can anybody give any info on Gilfillans coming from Wiston & Roberton Lanarkshire, Ayr, Dunfermline, and Musselburgh, and any info on Wilsons and Inglis from Dunfermline??????
Also My Great Grandmother was Catherine McCabe,she was born 1882 in Candlemaker Row in Edinburgh and died in 1934 at 51, Millhill Musselburgh. She was known locally as the Duchess of Millhill and apparently was not a nice person, she had two daughters by her first marriage to Mathew Martin who were Catherine Martin who married Stewart Strachen Davidson and Dina Martin. If anyone has any info on any of these people could you help me please, my grandad and his brother were her children by her second relationship but she never married the man, My grandma and grandad died before i started my tree so i have noone to ask about this side of the family.

I see no one has braved your post yet-- I think you need to break it down into bite-size morsels so we can sink our teeth into it
For example, could you tell us what information you do have about Catherine McCabe. Do you have her 1891 and 1901 census records? Birth, Marriage and Death certs? What further information are you looking for, specifically?
