Forbes from Banffshire, Scotland

Looking for information about Ann Forbes b 1/10/1847 in Banffshire, she married Alexander Barclay, they had 9 children. Particularly interested in Marjory McPherson Barclay, b 8/3/1877, who married Andrew Cardno in Fraserburgh, then emigrated to Ontario, Canada.

After Marjory died in 1928 Andrew remarried, apparently to her cousin, Catherine Forbes in about 1932. Catherine was born b c 1883, havent found out her parents yet, or when she emigrated to Canada.

From Cardno family, this was a 2nd marriage for both, Catherine had previously been married to a unknown Paul, and had 3 or 4 children, but unsure whether it was in Banffshire or Canada.

Any help much appreciated.

so if a not yet born Catherine Forbes were a first cousin to a not yet born Marjory Barclay it stands to reason that Catherine would be the daughter of one of these brothers to Ann. Not sure if that helps as it looks like there are 5 to choose from..........Alexander S., James, William, John or Gordon. There are no marriages on SP for Catherine Forbes to a first or last named male of Paul so I would suggest you be looking in Canada or elsewhere.
