I am looking for any living relatives of Robert Gordon. He was born 9.12.1894 in Carnwath, Forth and died 8.02.1917 in WW1. His parents were William and Mary Gordon.
My mother in law Pat's mother Alice was married to Robert in 1916 in London just before he died. Pat is in possession of Robert WW1 Dead Man's Penny Medal and would like to pass it to a member of hsi family.
He had 9 brothers and sisters and I have traced all their marriages and most of their subsequent children but have come to a halt.
Please contact me if you think you can help.
Jane

Hi Jane
Here on Talkingscot, I'm afraid we cannot help with searches for living persons. This article may be of some help, though you may have covered most of this ground already:
http://talkingscot.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=8559
We also have some links:
http://talkingscot.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5576
The Great War forum would also maybe be worth posting on:
http://1914-1918.invisionzone.com/forums
if you have not already posted there.
I do hope you manage to find someone to pass the medal on to.
Best wishes
Lesley
