This is the reply I received today from SP regarding the small size of the images.
I had told them that I am using WinXP IE6 sp2

Your preferred type for viewing images is currently set to Active X.
I have checked your account and viewed your images without any problems.
You could try and switching to Java Applet instead , to see if thats any
better for you.
But certainly there doesnt seem to be anything wrong with your images on
your account.
Kind regards,

Latest reply from SP re the issue of wee images:

I now know why you are having to scroll to see the images properly.
Your resolution is 800 by 600.
Now that the images are embedded in the browser, they are more resolution
dependant. I.e. the bigger the resolution you have, the more of the image
you can see without scrolling.
I think the best way to display and manage images is to save the image to
your PC. Then you can open it up in any program you like. If you have
Windows XP it will open it up in the default viewer which is a lot easier to
use , and you get fullscreen.
This was changed in the new site, because there was hundreds of users who
had pop-up blockers etc which caused issues.
Kind regards,

The above sounds like it should work; I'll give it a go
Changing the res to 1024 x 768 didn't help; could be I need a monitor newer than 1999.
