SP is freezing my computer

Have been trying all morning to download a registration from SP every time I try it just freezes my computer anyone know what is happeneing, I got the laptop out of the car is case it was my computer but it has just done the same with the laptop.

Hi Audrey,

As per all the previous mails, you need to change to Direct Download to fix this as it looks like SP isn't going to fix the Active X......well not soon anyway.

Go into your MY DETAILS and scroll down to the very bottom then change to Direct Download. You'll then be able to see the images immediately.

I keep changing my application to see if it will "fix" which it does for a time & then back to the same old problem.
Now what I know about computers you could write on a postage stamp but when it si on DirectDownload I can't copy Extracts to paper.It comes up as printing but the page is blank-what am I doing wrong?It worked before & I was happy with that but that is why I changed my application & am having so much trouble!

Never had any problems for years and now it seems to be one thing after another, I cant save to my computer or print, I thought it was me.

Hooray I am not the only numpty!
have now changed it to something else but then it "ate" all my credits-one minute I had 20 then after viewing one extract Zilch,nada,Zero....
I think my Waddell's have cursed me because I keep trying to find them & they don't want to be found!

Joette,

If you use direct download, once you are viewing the image, click on FILE, then edit with paint. This will then open your file in PAINT then just save as a TIF file as normal.

Thanks for that Audrey-only Waddells in Canada that I know off are my Uncle & Family.Think they went to Mars as I can't find them.

Thanks for the info....I have been trying for ages to try and view some records..I have lost a lot of credits also..I am not impressed with SP at all. Unfortunately, I tried your suggestion of using Paint to edit..I must be thick..because it didn't work for me....Any other suggestions.
