Lizzie wrote:Yes I just tried it out , takes a little getting used to the new format.

However, I have fourteen will's which I have purchased in the past and I tested it with two of them and was asked again for a further 10 pounds.

Now I wonder if I have to use the old Scosttish Docs. to view all my purchased wills? and this new one for purchase or NEW will's which are to be view on S.P.?

As it seems to be now I will have my will's in two places, is that the intention?

See below, especially re the need to submit a contact form. No way should you need to re-purchase these testaments. It may be the case that you need to give your permission for your account to be transferred to SP.

As far as I'm aware, once the new SP has been shown to be stable for a certain period of time, the scottishdocuments.com site will be taken off the web.

Thanks Dave,

Nothing against the colour at all - it just seemed too vibrant!

And all the wee boxes having TalkingScot Home, TalkingScot Gallery etc make them seem a bit crowded - just plain Home, Gallery etc looks good, as we should already know we are in TalkingScot!

That's a nice Icon inside those wee boxes....

Fair comment about crowded boxes. Will see what we can do.

Hi all
I'm confused :? - my previous searches all seem to be there, with names, but I don't seem to be able to arrange the whole lot by name alphabetically anymore. (This used to take three clicks on the name link. )

They are "sort of" doing it, but not properly. This means that I can't call up for instance all my McNicol searches all at the one time to either check a page of results I want to go back to or to confirm what search I have already done so that I don't repeat myself, and spend more that I need to. With 51 pages (yes, sad, I know...I should get out more!) this has the potential to be a major problem!!

I can't find my wills and testaments. Can anyone tell me - are they just all jumbled in with the other "Prevoius Searches"?

This sounds like a glitch with the new site............... if you haven't already done so, submit a contact form (SP don't monitor this DG).

Davie
Have sent off a contact form and mentioned that I now feel I need a search facility to search my "previous searches".

I'd often thought before it would be a useful feature but now it would seem to be essential!!

Hope you are enjoying your trip.

Best wishes
Lesley

Disappearing Credits now!

Post by LesleyB » Wed Jun 01, 2005 10:58 pm

Disappearing credits...

When I logged in this evening to SP's new site I had 18 credits.
I conducted 2 searches the results of which which I viewed (= 1 credit per view, so 2 credits for that) Then from those 2 searches I viewed 2 images (= 5 credits per image, so 10 credits for that) which should come to 12 credits in total. Thinking I had 6 credits left, I just about fell off my seat when about to perform another search when I found I'm left with just 1 credit!!

...and yes, I've filled in the contact form.

Lesley
