I had the same problem that you are having, and was not satisfied with the answer I got from SP.

By playing around the site myself I found that if you click on "description" again, it will list the names and not -1. Not sure why SP couldn't tell me this.

My "-1" descriptions remain. :? All the clicking on "description" did was to shuffle them into alphabetical order, or reverse-alphabetical order.

All the best,

hi,

I'm having a problem with ScotlandsPeople too! I took today off to do some searching but when I click to view, it stops responding. It's taking the 5 credits away though! Am I doing something wrong?

It shouldn't be doing that !!

Firstly, if it happens again, hit the refresh button on your web browser. If that doesn't work, then......

Secondly, go back into SP and have a look at your "Viewed Images" list...... chances are that the images are there waiting for you.

Thirdly, if that doesn't solve the problem, Submit a contact form

Lastly, and it may have nothing to do with your problem today, it can sometimes be the case that changing the image viewer option in "My Details" to "Direct Download" can help, but note that when you view an image view Direct Download, all that you initially get when you buy the image is the filename on the screen, - you then need to left click or right click on that file name for the various viewing and saving options.

Davie,

Many thanks! Tried all options but only the last one worked. I've changed to Direct Downloads and I can see all images now. Whew! Still don't know why the whole thing just froze everytime I tried to view and that even went for previously viewed images too. It was as though it could not read ActiveX but it could the last time I was in the site which is only about 10 days ago. Anyway, thanks for that tip.
