Can anyone tell me how I go about searching for Deaths/Births after 1924

Death records for the period 1855 thru 1954 are online at the Scotland's People website. Likewise for Birth records only these are for 1855 thru 1904. All the physical records right up to the present time are held at the New Register House in Edinburgh. If you know the name and date and event you want a copy of you can contact the GROS for copies. Being from the US I've always relied on a professional researcher to conduct research within the newer than online records....in lieu of buying a plane ticket!!
