Underlining
Having sent my message I see that underlining has now taken place.
Does one click on the icon, type the text, and then click on the icon again ? If this is correct, does the underlining on the text only take place when the message has been sent ?

Hi Bervonian
The following in "How to" http://talkingscot.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6747 may help.
And yes, you will only see the underlining once you have posted the text, not whilst you are writing it.
best wishes
Lesley

Normally I key in the text first, and then go back and highlight the text I want to underline, and then click on the u button. It then puts and either side of the text. When you submit the post, that shows as underlined text.
Bold, italic and coloured text work in much the same way.
All the best,
AndrewP

Many thanks for the swift replies, Catherine and Donald. I must try a practice post.
