Another new source of information has been released on the ScotlandsPeople website.
ScotlandsPeople website wrote:We are pleased to announce that The Court of the Lord Lyon, the heraldic authority for Scotland responsible for granting Scottish Coats of Arms, has made its historic records available on
www.ScotlandsPeople.gov.uk .
Customers world wide will now be able to look at Coats of Arms in Scotland from 1672 to 1907 on ScotlandsPeople. To search these records is free and to view an image will cost £10.
For further information about the Court of the Lord Lyon, have a read at the following website.

All the best,

Hi Andrew,
I somehow feel I won't see too many of my people with Coats of Arms but I'm sure it will be a good resourse for others. Now, if it had been the Sasines, that would make me very happy!
Regards,
Anne H
