Anyone up oan Cumputers

Post by Davie » Mon Jan 16, 2006 7:27 pm

I am once again having problems accessing data from SP on my machine here in the Glasgow flat.
I cannot view any new records.
However, they are coming up ok on the rest of the other machines elsewhere.
My problem is that, I log on, put in my search.
It gives me so many records on so many pages to view, but it keeps shifting me back to the home page after a few minutes.
The strange thing is, that when I do an extra page on a search that has got, for example ten pages of records already viewed of twenty.
I view page eleven, and it comes up ok.
Hope this makes sense.

Hi David
This is an odd one.
I was having the same problem a while back and did submit a form.
SP gave me a quick reply with a remedy.
It is on here under "Credit where it's due"
It appeared to solve the problem at that time and worked ok until last week.
I tried that this time and am having no luck.
I accept this is not an SP problem as it is working OK on my other computers elsewhere, but not on this one in the Glasgow flat.

Understood

But that's still not a reason for letting GROS/SoL/SP know that there is an issue involving a member's set-up :!: , - it might well help them to assist someone in the future who encounters the same problem.

On the 6th January, I most unwisely shouted from the hilltops (on another thread) that my ActiveX was working again. This has obviously jinxed things, as the big freeze has started again.

´Suppose I should count my blessings - it did work for fifteen days (and nights).

Ah weel, jest hef tae thole Java a wee while longer and nae be a girnie.

Yer nae on yer ain, elmca....... :)
