Problems logging on

Post by pinkshoes » Tue Feb 14, 2006 11:58 pm

For some reason I can't see the log in gubbins on SP - was on about half an hour ago, came out and now all I can see is a place for new users to register. Same thing, no matter where I try to log on from - I've tried the Search Records tab, clicked existing users bit, still no joy.

Anyone else had problems? I know it's bedtime, but I've just had new information I'm desperate to work on

Thanks Janette - at least I know it's not just me. Perhaps they're carrying out a major update of the site and we'll get up tomorrow and find a whole load of new information  Or perhaps it's just broken

Yup
I'm stuck this time around too. Last time this happened it didn't affect me, but this time I see what folk were on about! Another SP server bites the dust.... or needs a reboot! :D

best wishes

I couldn't find the log in box either - first thing I did was come on here to find out if I was the only one affected. I suppose they must update the servers at some point, but I wish they did it at 3 in the morning! :D Mind you, I bet that would affect those overseas in a different time slot. Ah well, early to bed :(

Me too

Just tried it - still no log-in box for existing users - wow!!! - maybe they are going to upload the '51 census tonight - would that be too much to hope for?

Me too! 23:40 and can't see any way in for existing users. At least I won't be using up credits, but I wanted to access my downloads for some correspondence about them, so that email will have to wait too!
Cheers

Hi Jean
Yes, that was the situation with me last time round when others complained of this problem - just couldn't see what they were on about, but I understand now - no login area!!!! Argh

Best wishes
