Can someone please tell me what happens to my SP account if I change my email address? Am I able to keep all my records etc?
I am hoping to change my ISP soon but have a lot of records which I haven't as yet saved elsewhere or printed off.

Hi Fiona

Sorry I can't offer any help about the SP situation in the case of a change of e-mail.

However I'm sure many would join me in saying

"Change of e-mail or not, do think seriously about downloading your SP certificates to your own computer and printing them out as soon as you can."

That way they are safe from any eventual problems on the SP computer system.

Someone will surely be along with advice about the e-mail question.

thanks for replying - I am in the process of downloading them but there is just SO many of them! I get easily distracted while I'm doing it and find information that perhaps wasn't relevant at the time but now find that it is!!

You probably plan to do so anyway. But thought I'd mention, just in case.

I've also downloaded all the images I've bought that appear to have "nothing to do with my tree". I keep them in a folder apart. I've been amazed over the years to discover how many of them do turn out to be mine.

Hello Fiona,

Logging in to SP requires your personal user name and password so changing your ISP will not affect your account.
Just remember to change your email address in your details section of SP if you do.
