Well, that's the way I feel. Can anyone point out the 'obvious' that I'm not seeing, because I thought I had made the right contact originally?

I have spoken to one of the ScotlandsPeople staff and she has looked at the images you have been viewing. She explained that it was just a glitch in the computer system and that from time to time these blips appear. Their answer doesn't seem to be the answer to your question. See if the TalkingScot interpretation of the registration districts enlightens you any further.

Thanks, Andrew. It would appear from the link you posted, that Gorbals was a separate district during the time included in my search.

I'll phrase my question differently and see if I have better luck.
