As of this date 01June2005, a link has been established between the newly enlarged and invigorated ScotlandsPeople website and the TalkingScot website.
Two completely independant organisations with a common interest, have seen the benefits of forming a link. This will certainly be a great day for Scotland and Genealogy.
We, too, have decided that a new look is in order. If you like the new look, well and good. If you prefer the original look, please click the profile button and choose the Board Style subSilver that was our original look, in place of this theme Quijibo.
Other themes will be available in the future.

Yes I just tried it out , takes a little getting used to the new format.
However, I have fourteen will's which I have purchased in the past and I tested it with two of them and was asked again for a further 10 pounds.
Now I wonder if I have to use the old Scosttish Docs. to view all my purchased wills? and this new one for purchase or NEW will's which are to be view on S.P.?
As it seems to be now I will have my will's in two places, is that the intention?

My wills seem to be ok. I seem to remember registering, at some point, to allow my two accounts to be merged.

Alternatives will be available soon. Let us know your preferred colours.
A desktop icon should be possible (but you would have to install it yourself!)
Registration button scrambled, so have return old look briefly while I sort it. Also have to put SP button into old look, so bear with me.
Our normal (super) service will be resumed as soon as possible.
