Timeline

Post by Jeannie-Alogy » Fri Jun 03, 2005 12:30 am

Hello,

I haven't been on the SP Website for quite a while and am finding I cannot add anymore viewed images to my timeline. Anyone else having similar problems? Also, after logging in, if you go back to the homepage, you become automatically logged out. How frustrating... i have had to log in about 6 times tonight. I'm sure the new site has cost a lot of money, but I fail to see any real improvment, especially with so many random images still missing. Is everyone else satisfied with things?

Jeannie

Have also tried to add viewed images to timeline, as the viewed image description is of no real use to me. I prefer my own timeline descriptions. But bilious yellow link don't work.

Contact form sent 12:30 am 03June2005. I await reply with interest as SP failed to reply to last 5 contact forms.

Is there anyone there? Knock once for yes, twice for no.

Timeline III

Jeannie

May have solved my own problem. Added a new view and was then able to add it to timeline.
Just a pity that Viewed Images are counted as total, and Timeline Images are counted as page. Why???

Have you timelined all your images to date?

Hooray

SP replied at last!!!

Downloaded new image, and was able to move it to timeline.

Dave

PS Downloaded a will (lotsa pages!) and those next/previous buttons worked through the pages without snacking on my credits. So different meaning from registry/census buttons of same name.

Thanks Dave,

Can you run me through exactly what it is that I am looking for/ what I have to do to to add these viewed images to my timeline?

I had only added a few of the images I have viewed (I am currently researching "Smith" and would reckon that much less than 10% of those I have paid for have been any good!!!). I did this quite a long time ago - I'm not sure that you could add your own description then. But now I've come back to it and have found it relly useful.

Hope you can help,
