The City of Glasgow Regiment was part of the name of the Highland Light Infantry after 1923.

The Highland Light Infantry (City of Glasgow Regiment)

The Glasgow Highlanders were a Territorial Army unit which was part of Highland Light Infantry. So I think I'm right in saying that in the Second World War they were officially known as

The Glasgow Highlanders, The Highland Light Infantry (City of Glasgow Regiment)

Came across this book on the Seventeenth Highland Light Infantry(Glasgow Chamber of Commerce Batallion)

Good bit of reading for any winter afternoon.
Does show a couple of Cap Badges on page 134
