I have just been informed today by the person who submitted an application on my behalf that Robert T Greenlees has been accepted for commeration. He will be added to the database as soon as the CWGC checks the grave area and a headstone may be erected in a year if it is made in France and less if it is made from Granite here in the UK.

I am so happy that he has been accepted.

Fantastic work.I have just been to visit the memorial in Harrow & Wealdstone where two recently pardoned "Shot at Dawn"WW1 soldiers have had their names added. One his daughter was able to attend & at last have the sacrifice her Dad made be vindicated. The other poor b***** was whipped away from home without knowledge of his family despite having medical certificates which clearly stated he was unfit for duty. They next heard that he had been "shot at dawn"in France.
I know that my Dad suffered from the effects of his Father's battle trauma & we just need never forget these men/women.SO WELL DONE.
