Hello Annie,
Re the Army Certificate.
On the WW1 Medal Rolls there are only ten by the name of Joseph Randles and only two Gunners, both in the Royal Garrison Artillery. They have Regimental Nos. 150365 and 186191.
If he was disabled in the Great War maybe he received a pension. There’s a Joseph Randles 150365 in Ancestry’s WW1 Pension records. I don’t have Ancestry access.
Maybe his age etc will match to a number of possibilities on Genes Reunited or whatever.

Just to let you know - Gunner Joseph Randles 150365 was 37 years old in 1919. He was transferred to the reserves on 17th June 1919.
