War Memorials around the Country.....

I missed Ian Hislop on the TV series, Who do you think you are?He said last night because of the Genealogy show,he's decided to explore the history of soldiers commemorated on Britains War Memorials around the Country!Like so many of us,he hadn't thought about family being in the wars,till it appeared on his family tree!Thought some of you would be interested in the series.I'll be watching anyway

Me to..if i hadnt seen Parki last night i wouldnt have known about it as i havnt noticed it being advertised.

I cought the end of Parky but missed the date of when the show starts, any idea

Must admit until researching my tree I just did not think of looking on War Memourials but have done so the past few months and have found three members on different ones.
