Does anyone know if there is an Absernt Voters list for the Fife area during the Great War?

In the absence of any information from anyone else ...
Not sure how much help this will be, but I did a google search for "Fife" and then within that an advanced search for "Absent voter" and then a further refinement "war". There were a handful of results - which might at least give you some background.
If these exist, it might be worth contacting the Council.

I contacted the records place for the Fife area and they gave me dates for 1918(?) I think. Quite a quick call if I remember rightly, but I was told to try NAS but i didnt think they held such records.
I have one Greenlees brother to trace in WW1 with the exception of Robert who is proving difficult. Andrew survived I know that and The NA has only one Andrew Greenlees serving in the Army Service Corps. Not sure how to prove that.
