I would be extremely grateful if someone could help me locate any data on HMS BERYL - NOT the one of Second World War fame.
I have a scan of a distant relative's Marriage Extract on which his occupation is shown as "Seaman, R.N.R. H.M. Ship Beryl". As Charles KEENAN was married in 1916, I am interested in a ship of the same era.
Regards and thanks.

If you have a look at
http://1914-1918.invisionzone.com/forum ... opic=77394
you will find some information on the converted yacht HMS Beryl
Other sources appear to indicate that in 1915 HMS Beryl was in action or supporting the main actions at Gallipoli
