It was land@glasgow.gov.uk I wrote to. Let's hope they can help.

As to why they are buried in the Southern Necropolis I have no idea, unless it seemed like the Grand thing to do in those days. It being quite newly opened I think (the eastern section)
I did try the SN website but the only Jeffrey/Jaffrey they have is wrong, date, wrong age and wrong Lair.

Forgive me if I'm a bit slow catching up with all your help, We still have family here...you know what it's like :D
