Study of living conditions.....

Post by sporran » Sun Feb 27, 2005 2:32 pm

Hello all,

when looking for something else, I came across this fascinating study of some houses in Glasgow from 1855 to 1914. The first two pages are in writing designed to impress academics, but after that it is very interesting. Included are the tracing through of a family's history, and a very detailed example of a Poor Law application.

Session 2 for the Skye and Kilmarnock material.]
