Read the Will, no mention of any inn or inventory. Well actually, there is a mention of some things like a table & bed.

Hi all
Did you know that if you are at NAS you can look up and read any of the wills you want to and read them for free on their PCs? You can even have print outs - I think its £2.50 for 5 pages (from the same document) but wouldn't like to swear to that.
Of course, its only cost effective if you are in Edinburgh anyway or have other things to look up at NAS or have a long list of wills to check out as the train fare for me to Edinburgh is more than the cost of a couple of wills!!

Copies of deeds etc. for a property cost £12 the last time I made an enquiry, which was in Jan 2004. Given an address they will do the look ups etc. so you don't need to know obscure codes or anything, just an address and a rough time window. Hope this helps.
Best wishes

You can get info about property fromWhat about deeds to property, is there a way to look them up by name & or owner?

Thanks Lesley,
All I could provide them with was the name of the innkeeper and the parish. Hope it is enough for them to work with.
