Can anyone tell me anything about Grange St Foundry, Nobels or Scottish Dyes? I had a distant relative that worked at these places and I'd like to know what they were.
Thank you.

Hi Stephanie,
Not sure if this will help. You'll find Scottish Dyes on this site and a photo c1920 of the employees at the end...

Hi Stephanie,
Nobel was bes known for the manufacture of explosive materials. Ardeer in Ayrshire was their main place, but they were also in the Falkirk area, the same area as is mentioned in the website in the reply above. Both companies were involved in the formation of Imperial Chemical Industries, otherwise known as ICI.
