Roscrea Whiskey.....

Post by Dona » Tue Aug 09, 2005 4:07 pm

Some of my Birtch ancestors in Tipperary owned a distillery. Supposedly their brand "Roscrea Whiskey" was famous. When the distlillery was closed ( a result of becoming involved with the temperance movement, in the mid to late 1800's.

Has anybody a bottle sitting in their cellar. (grin) I would love to get a picture of the label. (My husband would prefer the contents).
