Thankyou Paddyscar :)

I can't understand why Margaret Hunt has 2 different maiden names :?
Am I missing something?
Is there anyway I can confirm which maiden name is correct :?:

Thanks Kay

Might be expensive too. This looks like sister Elizabeth's marriage -

ELIZABETH HUNT

Marriages:
Spouse: JAMES ROBERTSON
Marriage:
31 DEC 1862 Tradeston, Glasgow, Lanark, Scotland

It would be interesting to see what she says about her parents (if indeed it is her).

By the way there is a Drypool in Hull which is where William Hamilton was living when his mother died.

Regards,
Annette

Thanks so much Annette for all your help. :)

:? I am still a bit confused regarding the different maiden name's for Margaret Elliot or Duke :?:

Did you have time to look at the certificates I uploaded? Could I be chasing the wrong family?

I never thought this would be so so so difficult.

 It's interesting my grandmother was Elizabeth Duke Robertson CAMPBELL
Margaret Buchanan' daughter born 1901

PS I think she died at home - Death Registered Calton.
I notice Well Stret Glasgow seems to come up a bit on the census of my ancestors (different numbers though!)
Kay :)
William and Mary Buchanan lived at 32 Well Street in 1881(same address as where Margaret Hunt died).

In my opinion there's just too may coincidences for it not to be the correct family on all your certs. As Wilma said the info on death entries is only as good as whoever provides it.

More money, but a check at Thomas Hunt's death entry might help too.

Annette
