Using Ancestry the following show up:-

1851 at Brandhill, St Cyrus, Kincardineshire is David Denn aged 4 - with grandparents William and Christina Falconer.

Then in 1861 at Gallowhillock, Marykirk, Kincardineshire is David Dunn aged 14 - with grandparents David and Elizabeth Dunn.

Looking for Mary a couple of possibles are:-

1841 in Marykirk a 15 year old Mary Falvoner born in Kincardineshire.

1851 at High Street, Brechin, Angus a 25 year old Mary Falconer born in Marykirk working as a house servant.

This family is all from around the Marykirk area. I will check and confirm tomorrow evening

Susan has the right family and place.
David's father was born at Gallowhillock in 1825.

Annette,
His address when he married in 1870 was high street Stonehaven.
witnesses to his and ann's wedding were william chalmers and william coutts.
