I was under the impression, obviously wrong, that a new member had to post at least 3 times before they could send and receive PMs ............
There has never been any such restriction on TalkingScot. PM as normal. Other forums using software other than phpBB may have such restrictions.

Hello Everyone. You are brilliant at solving this query. One lingering doubt is this...can I assume to read Kitchen for Kitchener which is on Marriage and Death certificates. I'm grateful to have the census entry for 1901. The only Kitchener that I could find in the 1901 census was an Annie Kitchener in Aberdeen.
The Elizabeth Lochrigg Dunlop that someone mentioned was the sister of Robert Dunlop,Marjory's husband so Elizabeth and Marjory were sisters-in-law.
Also interested to hear from Budie in Montrose as part of the Dunlop family moved there in the early 1920s. My mother was Sarah McGraw Dunlop.
Again,many thanks to you all.

On every census record from 1841 - 1891 James is Kitchen.

They were neighbours of my G G Grandparents who also came from Donegal - I wonder if they knew each other..... :D

Hello Annette. Thank you for latest reply. Thanks to your efforts I am now able to research a whole branch of my tree. I had been stumped by Marjory Kitchener's name for months.
