According to the description, the one on The Virtual Mitchell is yours.

I don't mind taking a photograph but you wll probably have to wait a while as I am never in that part of the city.

I think this one is different than the Mitchell one, that was later renamed to Kirklee.

The one I was after is this one:

Hi,

I've been watching this thread with interest as just this morning (at home with bad cold!) found a branch of the Mitchell family in Glasgow. 1891 census in New St and 1901 in Kennedy St. Looks to me like a tenement as there are several families at the same address. Would I be right? Also I've tried streetmap - but in Kennedy St. Glasgow but it doesn't know what I'm saying! What am I doing wrong?

There is still a Kennedy Street in Glasgow,

In Cowcaddens.

I don't know why streetmap can't find it ! as it's clearly on their map if you enter ' cowcaddens'

Hello Tish,

New Street, Calton is now Stevenson Street.
If you are using Multimap just put the street name without the city then you can choose.

of course there's nothing wrong with Streetmap - it's me! Put in Kennedy St. instead of Kennedy Street. Got it now and thanks again.

It wasn't you Tish - I had tried with 'Kennedy Street' and it came up blank too, but it seems to be working fine now !
