Am I missing something?

Ohh! Finger's crossed!

As I say, this is my great grandfather's brother. My GGF died very young leaving a widow and three small children. His only sister died soon after the birth of her second child, who also died. I've made contact with the descendents of her only surviving child - the only known child of any of his siblings. Aside from the soldier, his two other brother's were mariners (like him), and I can't find them, let alone any wives or descendents they may have had, anywhere! So I'd be absolutely delighted if I found him married with a bunch of kids tucked away somewhere - I'd be hunting those descendents down like a demented Miss Marple!
