Great News !
I found some of the Scott siblings that I was looking for in the SP census and death records. Andrew, I couldn't "page forward" on the 1881 census that you suggested in your welcoming post. That's OK, I have all the other census.
I can't decipher the death record of Andrew Scott who passed away in 1875 at the age of 9. Can anyone help if I upload the attachment?……now how do I do that ??
I am finding (and spending $$) a lot of info in my researches and I now realize one must be organized from the start. Lots of fun.

I took a look at the death certificate. The handwriting was quite difficult to read, but here is my interpretation of it:

• Andrew Scott (single)
  1875 February Twenty Second, 8h 40m PM, Craigie House(?) Farm, Parish of Dundee
  M
  9 Years
  Alexander Scott, Cowfeeder; Lizzie Scott, M.S. Fairweather
  Scarlatina, 10 days; As cert by P M Barton(?), Surgeon
  (signed) Alex Scott, Father
  1875 February 23rd at Dundee; (signed) F MacDonald, Registrar

Scarlatina is otherwise known as Scarlet Fever.

Hi Andrew,
Thanks ever so much for your help. I guess back in 1875 there wasn't any kind of vaccine to cure someone from the Scarlet Fever.
Now I have to find some info on Lizzie Scott and M.S. Fairweather. Thanks again!

Just for your information.
There is no vaccine available for scarlet fever, it is usually treated with a course of antibiotics. But as you know, antibiotics didn't exist back in in the 1860's 1870's.
I had a great-great uncle die aged two in 1863 of scarletina, also if my memory serves me right, my late father got it when he was a child, but survived, but ended up with a "minor" heart problem that caused him to black out if he became over-excited.

Sounds like an awful disease to have even if one survives it.
I'm finding a lot of info on my Scott Ancestors and now helping a friend look for some of her ancestors from Scotland. This is taking up too much of my time and I haven't seen my wife in a while ….( I think I have a wife)
I'm hoping there are some other Scott Family (Monikie/Dundee) researchers out there who will eventually stumble upon this site like I did.

The “Craigie House(?) Farm” noted by Andrew from the 1875 Death Certificate could be the Craigie Home Farm, or Home Farm Craigie, mentioned often in the Dundee Courier newspaper.

Hello everyone! I'm back on the "Scott sibling search" trail and have since found a lot of info on my Great Grandfather's siblings except for his sister Jane who was born about 1881 in Monikie. Of course she probably married which would make it more difficult to trace her but I'm looking forward to searching again. Merry Christmas to all. Cheers, Don
