A skipping song, I think [it's a looooooooong time ago]
The big ship sails up the allie, allie o
allie,allie o
allie, allie,o
the big ship sails up the alie, allie,o
on a cold and frosty morning.
Also I showed my grandchildren the art of stoating balls against walls, unfortunately the rhymes us girls used to say are long forgotten.

Ninatoo your rhyme sounds like it might be the beginning of a longer tale, which might even include the pie and umbrella. The only bits I remember are :
Says he to me "could you go a pie"
Says I "Aye" quite shy
Says he to me "Have ye ony money"
Says I "No"
Says he "well hoo he ye expect tae get a pie?"
Well!
I was that insulted I lifted up my umbrella and walked oot.
'Twas then he followed me ...
I wish I knew what happened next

I am also a Falkirk Bairn although i now live in Fife
My favourite was
Desperate Dan a funny wee man
He washes his face in the Frying Pan
Combes his hair with the leg of the chair
Dan Dans a funny wee man
there is another but maybe i better not add that one.
