According to www.thinkbabynames.com Una is a variant of Agnes.

Many thanks to all. Una was #1 daughter,,,,,,,, also the statement: The Clan MacLean website (although we are Clan Craig) suggests that Una is the gaelic equivilant of Ann/Anna. This could be where it came from, our grandmother was Ann. Her full name was Agnes Victoria (After Queen Victoria) because she was born May 24, same date as Queen Victoria. I never knew her name to be anything buy Una until I was about 15.
