Hi,
When I was in Greenock last year I bought a video called "A Tale of the Bank", a moving story of wartime on the Clyde 1941. Don't know if it is still available. It's an interesting documentary.

Hello,
Just came across this great site and this thread.
Our house at 7 Thom St., Greenock, was bombed by a lone German raider on April 16, 1941. We had my father's cousin, Maria Feliciana De La Cruz, and his niece, Feliciana Bryce, staying in one room, and both were killed. My mother and her five children in another room survived ( my father, William Bryce, was away at sea at the time). I believe the house was a quadriplex and some other people also died.
I have a copy of a newspaper clipping which mentions this raid but I'm wondering if anyone knows whether any pictures were taken of the bombed house and how I might get them.
