Thanks David, do you know what I wuld have to look up to find the names of their children? That cencsus only shows William and Janet and lists Sarah.Would I need to go back earlier to locate other children?? Because he is supposed to be my gg-grandfather but my g-grandfather's name was Hugh and he is not listed there. I want to make sure that I am researching the correct family but don't really understand how to read half of the stuff I find.
