Hi Lizzie,
You don’t have to pay to see the Header Image when you’ve already paid for it and viewed the image. When you go into your previous images you you can click on the “View Header” and the additional images will come up without you having to pay again. It sounds as if your time had expired and therefore you would have had to pay as usual to view anything. If you haven’t already done so, take a look at Davie’s explanations on my original post, he explains everything in full.
Regards,
AnneH

Yes Ann, as usual my time had expired and foolishly I assumed if one had purchased the image it was considered paid. But now we find we were missing something we knew nothing of as in yours, mine, and probably many others, until it was brought to our attention by yourself.
Once again many thnks to you Ann. Sorry to have been so stupid.

Not stupid at all
Once you have paid for an image it's always there for you, but viewing the header pages doesn't work for some as yet unknown reason when you access the images via the "Viewed Images" option, but you should still be able to view the image and access the header pages by accessing the image via "Previous Searches".
If not, please let me know.

Going via "Previous searches" - option to "View Header Image" is there BUT if you have run out of time you are requested to buy more credits
Not a stupid question Lizzie - you've brought up a hiccup which we weren't aware of.

I tried viewing header page via 'Previous Searches' and, I too, was requested to buy more credits.

Not good.
It's not just if you've run out of time. If you have 0 credits left (I suspect less than 5 also but I didn't test that), then when viewing a previously paid for census image and then trying to view the header info also brings up the message re need to buy more credits.
I've just deliberately created such a situation to confirm others' experiences, - so next email is to SoL......
