Do remember to compact your Outlook files as well. It helps to make Outlook run faster, especially when searching for old emails.

Click Run, Data File Management and then Settings for each file. The option to Compact should be visible as a button to click. Depending on when (or if) this was last done, this can take just a few seconds or a few minutes.

Another option is to use EUDORA instead of outlook - a lovely easy to use free email program

=D> Hooray for Eudora and its wonderful search functions! I would be lost without it :roll: (Now who sent me that email a few years ago about the XXX family in XXX?) A brilliant replacement for my memory, that is no longer very brilliant...
