Wow Bluebell! You lucky thing [woohoo]

David has found a real treasure for you. I've only got a couple of 1855 certificates, but they solved a few mysteries for me.

Great stuff!

Livingstone and Scotland surnames

Post by bluebell » Wed Mar 28, 2007 3:18 pm

Many many thanks to all of you who replied to my posting. I am delighted with this info and also surprised at the short time it took to receive it, you have all worked hard on my behalf and I thank you for it. I have a copy of an extract from the family bible it lists deaths in family there is a John Livingstone recorded as having died in 1908 I couldnt place him anywhere but date wise I believe it is mary's dad. I am grinning like a cheshire cat at the moment it all fits in with names my mum vaguely remembes from the past. I hope I can call on your help again if I come up against more brickwalls. [cheers]

I'm hoping that Bluebell comes back to this forum eventually because the family she is researching in this post is also MY family - we share the same ancestors and I'd love to know who she is (I don't know her at the moment) :)

Hello Penni and a warm [TS_welcome]

Bluebell last visited the forum in April of 2013-- not so long ago considering the date of her post. She should get an email notification of your post if she still has the same email address. Fingers crossed!

All the best,
Sarah

Thank you Sarah! It was so surprising to find her post while I was searching online for info on my family. It will be a shame to find a real life relative (I don't have too many) only to never be able to say hello.
