McNairs - any suggestions?.....

In the Shotts 1881 Census the Ann Govan/Gavin aged 2 years is my grandmother.
What I'm really wanting to do is trace both Gavin and McNair families in Renfrewshire.
Russell Young has been a great help re the Kilbarchan lairs too.
I've not been able to find when Agnes Gavin [McNair] died except that she was deceased before 1872 when Thomas Gavin married Ann Jane Rodgers in Dykehead Shotts. I don't know if Thomas Gavin remarried.
When my grandparents migrated to New Zealand all contact with Scotland was lost after 1925, the date Ann Jane Rodgers Shannon Bunyan[nee Govan] paid a visit to Stirling.
